Max McCroby - Realtor with Sibcy Cline
Hi there! I'm based out of the Lebanon office, but work anywhere my car will take me in Southwest Ohio. With the help of the outstanding team at Sibcy Cline, I have been able to help hundreds of people market and list their properties, as well as find the home that begins their next chapter or that one-of-a-kind piece of land to turn into something greater.
As everyone knows, buying and selling a home can be extremely stressful. When faced with the physical exhaustion of packing, the mental fatigue of keeping up with paperwork and crunching numbers, and the emotional and spiritual impact of saying goodbye to an old home or hello to a new house, my goal as your Realtor is to alleviate as much of that strain as possible. I focus my efforts on clear communication and guiding my clients through this process, reducing the amount of surprises as much as possible. I have learned that empathy can be one of the most valuable skills in real estate, and I don't take lightly the responsibility I owe to those that I represent. I do my absolute best to earn the trust of my clients, because I know how consequential these decisions are. Being a Realtor requires a personal connection to really serve those that I work for.
A Little About Me
Born and raised in Cincinnati, I graduated from Kings High School and attended the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. In another life, perhaps I would have gone on to be a music teacher, but I have found great fulfillment and joy working as a Realtor alongside family in the Lebanon office, who have been invaluable as mentors. My goal has always been to make a positive impact on those around me, and I continue to feel that I am accomplishing that goal as a Realtor. Outside of real estate, I am passionate about writing, recording, producing, and performing music. Although I am a Realtor by day, I will always be an artist at heart, and I look for ways to channel that creativity into my work.
I am a third generation musician, having learned from my father, Scott McCroby who played bass guitar in the legendary Cincinnati Rock band, Prizoner, and being the grandson of the incredible Ron McCroby, renowned jazz musician known for his unique jazz whistling (no, I'm not kidding). My grandfather, Ron McCroby performed on the Johnny Carson show as the musical guest five times, and would constantly be writing jingles and radio advertisements featuring his six young children singing. Growing up in a household constantly reverberating with rhythm, melody, and harmony, my dad passed that same love of music on to me.
Now today, with my own family, I keep that McCroby song going, whether it's my son and I improvising chaotic free form collaborations with his toy instruments, or working on the audio engineering side, editing audiobook narrations with my incredibly talented wife, I feel blessed to live a life filled with the joys of music, laughter, and creativity. Real estate has proven to be more than a career, it has become an avenue to serve others while building a life rooted in purpose, connection, and legacy. I am truly grateful for the opportunities my clients have given me to make meaningful change in their lives, and I feel blessed to be where I am today.
